What is a welding nut?

Welding nut is a nut suitable for welding outside the nut, generally made of weldable materials and thicker suitable for welding, welding is equivalent to two separate parts into a whole, with high temperature melting metal mixed together and then cooling, the middle will be added to the alloy, the internal is the role of molecular force, the strength is generally greater than the parent strength.
The experiment of welding parameters depends on the fusion size of the weld, and the welding parameters are adjusted according to the fusion size until the defects are eliminated. Of course, the quality of welding is related to pre-welding treatment, cleaning ash, oil stains and so on.

Square welded nuts are mostly +1mm which is the diameter of the bottom hole. The hexagon welding nut is slightly different, smaller, +1.5mm (such as M3 for 4.5mm bottom hole), the general diameter of +2mm, and then larger, may +2.5mm (such as M8 for 10.5mm), and then upward, will add a little more (such as M12 bottom hole for 14.8mm, plus 2.8mm).
